AQRO-NUR LLC was founded in Baku, Azerbaijan on 2009 with the vision of being leading supplier of potassium nitrate for agriculture and industry, specialty plant nutrients and food phosphates. Our business starts with farmers. We partner with them, providing fertilizer and know-how to help them produce larger and better harvests. In Azerbaijan we sell blended nitrogen, phosphate and potassium (NPK) fertilizer formulas, mixed nutrients and liquid fertilizer products. Our key mission is to create highly effective solutions for farmers by leveraging a deep familiarity with their requirements.
Nitrogen (N) is often the most deficient of all the plant nutrients. Wheat is very sensitive to insufficient nitrogen and very responsive to nitrogen fertilization.
Sweet corn requires plenty of nitrogen and phosphorus throughout the growing season. Many soils already contain enough potassium, magnesium and other nutrients.
Onions require a high source of nitrogen. A nitrogen-based fertilizer should be applied at the rate of one cup per 20 feet of row. The first application should be 3 weeks after planting.
For carrot plants, the amount of nitrogen in the fertilizer should be less than potassium and phosphorus. NPK fertilizer with 1-2-2 label can be perfect.
Radishes need little in the way of fertilizer added to soil. In fact, a common problem with growing radishes is having too much of certain elements, usually nitrogen.
eets require especially good nutrition and a high phosphorus level to germinate. Go easy on nitrogen, an excess will cause sprawling greens and tiny bulbs beneath the soil.
Soils naturally contain many nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorous, calcium, and potassium. These nutrients allow plants to grow. When soil nutrients are missing or in short supply, plants suffer from nutrient deficiency and stop growing. When the nutrient level is too low, the plant cannot function properly and produce the food necessary to feed the worlds’ population.
In order for a plant to grow and thrive, it needs a number of different chemical elements. The most important are:
Carbon, hydrogen and oxygen – Available from air and water and therefore in plentiful supply
Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium (a.k.a. potash) – The three macronutrients and the three elements you find in most packaged fertilizers
Sulfur, calcium, and magnesium – Secondary nutrients
Boron, cobalt, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum and zinc – Micronutrients
